Rocky Mountain PeaceJam, in partnership with The Institute on the Common Good at Regis University and the Center for Juvenile Justice, are bringing their 17th Annual PeaceJam Youth Conference: Transformation Not Incarceration to North High on March 16 – 17. A free public talk with Rigoberta Menchu Tum is on Friday, February 15th at Regis University in the chapel. The talk is free, people just need to RSVP with their first/last names or call us at 303-455-2099 to get on the list.
A film screening of Mayan Rennaisance with a special question and answer session with Rigoberta Menchu Tum is being held at North High School on Saturday, February 16th at 7:00pm. The cost is $10 and all proceeds benefit scholarships for PeaceJam youth participants.
PeaceJam unites Nobel Peace Prize winners with youth dedicated to making the world a better place.
This year attendees to the Peace Jam will be visited by 1992 Nobel Peace Prize Winner Rigoberta Menchú Tum.
