On September 15-17, 2006, PeaceJam celebrated its 10th anniversary by hosting a historic event at the University of Denver in Colorado. This two-and-a-half day event featured 10 Nobel Peace Laureates and 300 youth participants from around the globe. This was the largest gathering of Nobel Peace Laureates ever to take place in the United States.
This conference, spearheaded by the Nobel Peace Laureates, served as the launch of a 'Global Call to Action' which aims to address the most pressing issues of our time. The goal is to mobilize the global community to complete ONE BILLION 'Global Call to Action' projects addressing such problems as racism and hate, environmental degredation, access to clean water, and the spread of global disease.

Anyone can get involved in the 'Global Call to Action' and make a difference. Work on a project by yourself, with a group of friends, in school, in your place of faith, in your community or with your family.
