2014 PeaceJam New England Spring Conference with Oscar Arias!

Come and share a weekend with Nobel Peace Laureate Oscar Arias, and hundreds of motivated and engaged youth from all over New England who are making a difference in the world through their commitment to taking action!

If you live in New England (or elsewhere) and work with Youth that share PeaceJam's passion for action and social change, we invite you to come with your group to this year's PeaceJam New England youth conference!

This years conference is built around the themes of
Protecting the Earth's Environment and True Human Security.

Oscar Arias will share his passion for the protection of human rights, the importance of facing down poverty and assuring true human security for all! The weekend will also contain workshops and service projects surrounding our themes, giving participants tools, strategies, and inspiration to go out and be the change they want to see in the world.
When: March 15th -16th 2014. Public talk at 3pm on March 14th!
Where: University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT.

Participation fee: $130/youth or adult participant registering by 2/28/2014*

$150 for Late registrations (3/1/2014 or later)*

Registration includes:
- 3 to 4 Meals (Lunch and Dinner on Saturday, Lunch on Sunday, with an option for breakfast on Sunday morning if you aren't going to eat at your hotel.)
- Conference T-Shirt!
- Access to all Conference Programming!

The Conference Will Include
- Student sessions with Oscar Arias on both Saturday and Sunday.
- Small group workshops on topics such as Activism as Service, Opposing Human Trafficing, and Peace Building.
- Sharing of youth group service projects.
- Everyone will participate in service projects that touch both the immediate community surrounding our conference, and out into the larger world.
